✅ This AMS wall clock model 5522 is made of wood and is 40 cm high. All clocks are equipped with a quartz movement and function on a battery. Your new clock is fitted with a radio-controlled movement and will automatically set the time after inserting a battery. The change from summer to winter time also takes place automatically. You have a two-year warranty on the timepiece.

If the clock starts spinning endlessly over time, the battery is almost empty in almost all cases. After changing the battery, the clock will function normally again. If the hands of the clock still rotate after inserting the new battery, it is useful to reset the clock. You do this by inserting the battery the other way around for a few seconds (plus to minus) and then placing it back in the correct way in the clock (plus to plus). A clock with a pendulum also functions without the garland. The pendulum is only decorative and has no further function. 

If the clock is fitted with a new battery, the movement will go to the 12 o'clock, 4 o'clock or 8 o'clock position and wait in that position for the radio signal from the atomic clock, this can sometimes take a while. Sometimes the signal cannot reach the clock (Faraday cage) and it makes sense to place the clock near a window for a while. The current radio-controlled clocks are set up for summer and winter time and will adjust this time themselves. In practice, this can take up to a day before the time is changed.
